Job Title: Derivatives and Corporate actions Specialist
Location: Dublin
Position Type: Full Time

Description:
Global Hedge Fund Administrator seeking Derivatives and Corporate Actions Specialist to join their fast paced team in locations such as Dublin City, Kildare and Louth. Eager to meet experienced Middle Office professionals capable of working as part of a busy team environment and ready for a new challenge.

Education:

You will have an Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree. Min. 2.2 honors degree
Responsibilities:

Oversee daily review of reconciliations Cash, Positions, FX, Pricing, Dividend/Corp Actions, Interest/Expense Accruals, Broker fees, Capital contribution/redemptions including tasks performed by Shared Service units.
Assist with production of weekly estimate and monthly Dealing NAVs including PnL allocation to investors.
Liaison with client/counterparties on the resolution of breaks and pricing issues.
Assist with Swap OTC Derivative work flow processing including CFD resets, unwinds, settlements.
Assist team deliver client's regular periodic reporting. eg transparency, board reports as well as adhoc requests.
Oversight and review of work done by other members of the teams onsite and offshore.
Work closely with the manager on weekly and monthly reviews.

Required Skills: 3+ years’ experience either in a hedge fund / investment bank or prime broker.
Strong knowledge of Investor Services processes and related functionalities
Good knowledge of Hedge Fund accounting and have a broad product knowledge, to include bonds, equities, futures, FX, options, swap/derivative/OTC
Strong PC-based experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills when dealing with Clients, Investors, Management and demonstrate a diligent and methodical approach to tasks
Experience: Side Pocket experiences a distinct advantage.
Experience in Excel and Bloomberg beneficial.
Required Education: Third level qualification in business related discipline. Min 2.2
