Senior Operational Risk Manager - Global Multinational - Funds
This dynamic senior role will be based within the Fund Solutions team (New Business) located in Dublin 2. It is an autonomous role allowing you to ‑be your own bossâ€.
There is no team to manage; you will manage the risk function for the company and this is a highly visible position. Operating as a key second line of defence, you will manage risks within the overall CFS Risk Appetite and consistent with its Risk & Conduct culture.
You will be central to promoting and embedding a consistent application of the Risk Framework and Risk Management processes within the first line functions. This is a senior permanent role with a comprehensive benefits package with a company that has an excellent reputation on the Irish market.
Responsibilities
• Maintain the Business Unit Risk Framework& Procedures documents and Terms of Reference for local risk related forums.
• Updating risk register(s), either directly or in cooperation with risk register owners and risk owners
• Gatekeeper/overseer for inputs to the risk system, ensuring entries are current and to the required standard.
• Coordination of inputs and data sources for the Business Unit risk dashboard, ensuring consistency with the underlying risk registers
• Review/challenge the reporting of business risks ensuring accurate risk information is presented into the Risk Committee and Board.
• Ensure efficient production and collation of risk reporting to the risk governance process and provide summary reporting and escalation of issues to direct report.
• Ensure the incidents reporting process continues to operate effectively
• Maintain awareness of updated Group and policies owned by the Risk Function e.g. Anti-Fraud, Anti Bribery & Corruption, New Business Acceptance.
