Accountant - Financial Reporting:
The Role:
My client is one of the world’s leading financial institutions and an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant. An opportunity to work on and eventually manage large and/or complex projects that met the financial and regulatory reporting needs of the client as part of the team. Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Regulatory returns
• Liaising with External Auditors and deal with queries. Manage the audit process for your clients
• Preparation on interim and annual financial statements for the investment funds Under administration
• Preparation of any group, board or ad hoc reporting required by your client
• Ensuring tax compliance deadlines are met for funds assigned to you
• Preparing and/or reviewing Tax computations as required
• Train other colleagues
• Take part in transition and improvement projects as required
• Liaising with other units - Transfer Agency, Custody/trusty, Fund Accounting, client services, Legal and client expenses
• Review all work received by Liaising with colleagues in support locations and assist in planning outsourced work and provide colleagues with feedback on work provided

| Required Skills: |
• Excellent desktop, IT and system skills, experience of Invest One/Enterprise an advantage. Excel experience essential
• Excellent client servicing skills
• An appreciation of accounting principles is required
|
| Experience: |
• At least 3 years’ experience within the Funds Industry, Financial Reporting background is an advantage
• Strong communication and problem- solving skills
• The role requires interaction at all levels through the organization so should have excellent interpretation skills
|
| Required Education: |
• You must have a third level qualification in Accounting/Finance |
