x2 Divisional Managers
Two dynamic senior roles have arisen with my client in Munster due to new client wins within their Fund Accounting sector. These permanent roles will form a fundamental part of my clients Irish Senior Management team. You will report directly to the Head of Fund Accounting in Munster and this is an excellent opportunity for Fund Accounting Managers with 5 year+ experience at manager level to progress your career to the next level and avail of one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the Irish financial services market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage two or more accounting operation teams/section managers
• Manage the accounting operations unit and complete the performance management process, and establishing performance standards for the unit
• Determine staffing requirements of the fund accounting division (hiring and firing decisions, handle salary administration)
• Ensure resources are available to accomplish priorities.
• Act as senior escalation point of contact for assigned clients
• Participate in developing the business unit strategic plan; set goals and objectives based on the direction set for the unit and ensure these are met
• Contributes to the development of the department’s budget and manages the expenses for the fund accounting team.
• Analyse records of client accounting reports identifying deficiencies in control procedures/ duplication of operations etc.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with relationship managers to ensure client SLA’s are met
• Contribute in client meetings to explain my clients products/ services and consult on effective ways to meet client needs/appropriate method to be used for resolutions

| Required Skills: |
• Excellent knowledge of Traditional and Hedge Fund accounting with exposure to both areas |
| Experience: |
• 5+ years in a Fund Accounting Management role in a fund administration company |
| Required Education: |
• 3rd Level Degree in finance and preferably a professional qualification ACCA, ACA, CFA |
