| Description: |
Senior Operations Loans Analyst
The Investment Operations group will assume responsibility for daily support of, and technology solutions for, the Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Financial Reporting Departments. The Loan Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for the successful and accurate completion of the daily processing requirements for various Alternative and Mutual Funds and providing support to the various departments, whilst strictly adhering to established departmental policies and procedures required to process Alternative and Mutual Funds.
Responsibilities
• Review and process bank loan related activities including: pay downs, borrowings, interest payments, rate resets, rollovers, and restructurings on the Geneva Fund Accounting system;
• Responsible for maintenance of loan asset master information on Geneva Fund Accounting system
• Review credit and trade documentation and ensure accurate and timely reporting of activity
• Communicate and coordinate information between investment managers, agent banks and accounting teams in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist accounting teams with loan discrepancies on a daily and monthly basis.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
• Gain understanding of current solutions and make recommendations for future solutions to enhance outsourcing services
• Actively participate in project plans associated with solution development and implementation based upon agreed business requirements
• Query, problem and error resolution on a timely basis (with documentation)
• Maintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal units
• Strictly adhere to established departmental processing procedures and controls
• Train, coach and mentor more junior members of the team or across the company where appropriate
• Work on Projects / Adhoc tasks as required

| Experience: |
• Knowledge of the Syndicated or Private Debt Loan Market
• Knowledge of Geneva, Invest One and/ or similar Fund Accounting systems;
• Knowledge of loan processing functionality using the Geneva fund accounting system
• Experience in Fund operations with experience in Alternatives / Hedge Funds
