Senior Fund Accountant/Senior Fund Analyst
Responsibilities
Evaluates and reconciles complex funds including mutual, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports or for daily valuation
Verifies daily transactions, audits income reports, and resolves exception on assigned
accounts according to procedures
Verifies accuracy of information reviewing reports against performance procedures
Assists in the preparation of reports and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and performance standards
Records and responding to partner and client inquiries, providing guidance and resolving exceptions
Assists manager in researching new accounting issues and security types, and on other special projects
Work with partner groups and assist in the development of new procedures or enhancements to current processes to improve productivity
Provide training for new staff |

| Required Skills: |
Organizational skills are required to provide client reports within scheduled timeframes
Strong written and oral communication skills are required to disseminate information to team
Ability to operate a keyboard and 10 key adding machines is required to record inquiries and to balance and reconcile accounts |
| Experience: |
1 -2 years’ experience in fund accounting or fund valuation
Knowledge of complex accounting and securities processing procedures, Analytical skills are required to research and resolve inquiries. |
