Temporary Full-Time Role
My client are seeking an experienced practice trained accountant to lead a large team across a number of client assignments. This is a key managerial position with extensive client engagement and oversight of a large team. In this role, you will develop a high- performing team, leading and supporting each member to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service. This entails a variety of challenging activities:
Build and lead a team effectively, ensuring service levels and standards are maintained.
Servicing a portfolio of key clients and successfully developing service offerings to meet demands.
Responsible for leading and reviewing assignments ensuring timely completion of assignments
Responsible for practice management including client billing and debtor management.
Completion of management accounts, client reporting and statutory financial statements which includes:
Preparation of weekly, fortnightly, quarterly and monthly management accounts
Liaise with clients for approval of payments
Preparation of bank reconciliation and primary records of account
Preparation of monthly reports to strict deadlines
Preparation of client specific payroll reports on occasion / when required
Familiarity with ROS to support with statutory payroll and VAT returns
Liaise with clients and other parties on a regular basis

| Required Skills: |
Business acumen and insight to be an effective business advisor to clients.
Experience managing and leading teams effectively.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. |
| Experience: |
Ideally 5 years + accounting experience. |
| Required Education: |
Qualified Accountant.
In-depth knowledge of FRS102 (working knowledge of IFRS an advantage). |
