My client is seeking a Personal Tax Accountant to join the Personal Tax Compliance team who will be responsible for developing solutions to complex technical issues whilst managing a team in demanding assignments on a day to day basis. This role gives scope for rapid career progression and is an excellent opportunity for highly ambitious individual’s wishing to take the next step in their career.
The Role:
Develop a clear and detailed understanding of the business and client expectations]
Provide intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues
Writing high quality tax reports and professionally presented documents, requiring minimal input from directors or partners
Responsible for planning and performing tax consultancy assignments;
Involvement in management of the personal tax compliance process;
A sound awareness and adherence to the firm's risk management processes and procedures;
Working effectively with all members of the team, building the confidence and respect and subordinates;
Demonstrate a clear appetite for self-development through the appraisal and personal development plan processes
Demonstrate an understanding of the full range of the firm's products, services and capabilities |

| Required Skills: |
Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to identify opportunities for clients;
Capable of working on your own initiative;
Managerial skills with the ability to manage compliance process and compliance staff
Strong interpersonal skills together with proven people development skills to support the development of the more junior staff
Ambitious and want to pursue a career in practice |

3 years’ experience of working with personal tax |
| Required Education: |
CTA qualified (ACA/ACCA additional qualification preferred) |
