About my client:
My client is a world leading, award-winning provider of outsourcing and technology solutions across the financial services industry to a client base including investment funds, insurance and life, private clients and wealth managers.
About The Role:
This role sits at Vice President level and is a new function, brought on due to a new regulatory change. As the MLRO for the group, you will share responsibility with DMLROs for ensuring that any suspicious transactions are flagged, monitored, assessed and reported upon appropriately.
About You:
You will have a mature outlook with excellent experience in Compliance with a particular focus on Anti Money Laundering. You’ll be comfortable in dealing with sometimes complex, layered issues with a keen eye for risk mitigation. You will ideally have experience in designing and implementing control procedures where a compliance framework requires updating. Experience in Cayman domiciled funds is beneficial.
About the day to day:
Receiving, reviewing and making a final decision on suspicious activities/transactions within the group
Design, implementation and maintenance of compliance testing programs
Facing off with upper management/high profile clients surrounding AML/Compliance
Fostering a risk averse approach to Compliance matters across all teams
