The Client:

The Role:
Ensure the net asset values (NAVs)/distribution rates of all funds are calculated accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with company standard or client specific procedures and timetables.
Supervise the preparation and calculation of NAVs across all funds with zero error tolerance.
Review and sign-off on all NAVs and dividend rates calculated.
Ensure the NAVs and dividend rates are accurately communicated to the relevant parties according to the client specific agreed timetable and for ensuring that the information is received.
Supervise fund Administrators to ensure the accurate and timely processing of trade, corporate action and cash settlement information on the accounting system.
Communicate any significant operational issues that arise to Manager.
Ensure fund administrators maintain daily/monthly files in a manner suitable for future review by the fund and internal auditors.
Evaluate and reconcile complex funds including mutual, comingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports for daily valuation.
Verify complex transactions, audit income reports within scheduled timeframes and resolve exceptions on a daily basis for fund accounts.
Ensuring valuations are completed in an accurate and timely manner for all funds within the team.
Work closely with the manager on various projects and processes.
Manage any potentially difficult situations which may impact on the clients by developing a close working relationship with client services.
Look to meet and improve the preparation of client reporting.
Liaise with other units - Shareholder Services, Trustee, Data Management, Control etc.
Understand risk in own team; help others to understand this and to recognise that risk is everyone’s responsibility.
Respond flexibly to the needs of the current situation, amend own work program to deliver desired outputs.
Perform tasks of defined processes or procedures and check for errors. Ensure procedures in relation to all tasks are adhered to.

Experience: |
Requirements:
You will have 3 years ideally working in a similar environment.
You will have had supervisory responsibilities in previous role.
Industry Knowledge - Knowledge of financial instruments, Valuations business & Central Bank regulations an advantage.
Strong experience as a Fund Administrator /Accountant with evidence of quality checking team’s work.
Effective in the use of a variety of communication methods. |
