Do you have Financial Reporting experience looking to make the step up to a managerial role or are you leaving practice to go into an industry role?
My client is one of the world’s leading hedge Fund Administration companies. They are looking for someone with Financial Reporting experience or someone from practice (Big 4 preferably), small Internal Audit component in the role to join their expanding team based in the Dublin office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast growing organization.
The Role:
Draft a timetable for each financial reporting project detailing key milestones from planning to final sign-off
Prepare or review financial statements including primary statements and all note disclosures ensuring they are drafted in accordance with: o the regulations of the fund domicile
the relevant GAAP of the Fund, primarily US GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP
the constituting documents of the fund (prospectus / offering memorandum)
Investment Manager and/or Auditor instructions
Co-ordinate and chair a weekly call between the Auditors, Investment Manager and HedgeServ tracking the status of the financial reporting project to agreed milestones on the timetable and resolving or directing ad-hoc Investment Manager and Auditor queries in relation to GAAP or local regulations |

Requirements:
A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) who has completed a 3 or 4 year training contract with an audit firm specializing in the audit of Hedge Funds
A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who has completed a 3 or 4 year training contract with a Fund Administration firm specializing in financial reporting for Hedge Funds
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (2.2 min)
Detailed knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
Detailed experience developed across audit and financial statement review, either through audit engagements in Practice or within another financial institution |
