About my Client
My client is a leading provider of Corporate Banking, Investment Management and FX services. A mature business with a highly experienced Executive Management team, they are seeking to expand their Maltese presence and to capitalise on a gap in the market for both FX and ancillary services.
About the Role
This role has arisen due to business growth, and a requirement for a knowledgeable and driven manager to take the helm. As this role is a General Manager position, it is quite broad in nature with responsibilities ranging from concept ‑ strategy, product development, relationship management and business development, to operations management (with the assistance of an Operations Manager) ‑ budget management, recruitment, compliance, development of branch network and more.
It comes with a very competitive base salary, benefits package, and additional benefits such as company car, laptop, mobile, and an uncapped bonus.
About You
You will be an ambitious FX professional with about 8-10 years of experience. You’ll be able to manage both short and long term strategic initiatives, have experience in or alternatively be very interested in growing businesses and being able to utilise an excellent support structure in order to drive success.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, motivator, personable and driven, with strong planning and time management skills, and have a sound understanding of operations management. |
