Job Description
Our clients European finance team are responsible for the day-to day accounts and administration processes of the company and are seeking a proactive, energetic person who is practice trained and has some experience in a busy accounting environment. This is an excellent time to join this growing FS firm within their in-house finance team (no client responsibility).
Duties and Responsibilities for multiple countries across EMEA
Will be heavily involved in multiple areas of the Finance function including corporate and management reporting, regulatory reporting, client profitability, etc. There is a significant opportunity for high personal growth and learning with daily contact with Director and Senior Manager members of the team.
Task include
Preparing accounts to trial balance stage and maintain all supporting schedules
Preparing financial statements and liaise with external auditors
Balance sheet and Income Statement analysis
Budgeting and forecasting analysis
Maintain the fixed asset register
Prepare VAT and Corporation Tax returns
Manage the accounts payable process
Liaise with New York head office on a daily, monthly basis
Other daily ad-hoc duties |

| Required Skills: |
Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and experience
Min 2.1 in Business Studies, Finance / Accounting degree or equivalent
Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Practice trained accountant with 1+ yearts PQE
Some exposure to FS
An enthusiastic team player who works well under pressure, in a busy work environment
Computer literate and with strong Microsoft Excel skills
Confident communicator both written and oral |
