|         Risk & Operations Manager This role can be based in Dublin or London This role reports to the CFO this senior position within an Investment Clearing and Stockbroking house    Expand and develop high-performing operations team;  ensure team have required skills available to operate in new markets, develop technology for operational and control efficiencies, etc.
  Manage transformation of the company's back office function
  Develop and implement systems, procedures and controls that will maximise trade processing and settling efficiencies
  Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory rules, internal controls and policies including Money Laundering, Client Set Up Procedures etc.  Document and train team.
  Support business strategy and new product development; assess implications and make necessary arrangements as regards any adjustments to systems specification, procedures and related business opportunities/threats
  Maintain a strong client focus, visit key clients in order to discuss issues and strengthen relationships
  Risk Management responsibilities include leading the development of a risk measurement methodology including risk event capture, key risk indicators, risk capital calculations and allocation.
  Assist Management in developing risk management program and act as secretary for all Risk committee meetings; provide reports to EXCO and Risk Committee
  Monitor client credit limits and client credit approval process
   Experience Required :  A minimum of 10 years operations management experience gained through increasing responsible positions within the operations or settlement department of brokers dealers / custody houses
  In depth knowledge of UK and European settlement practices, including self-clearing
  Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate a high-performing team
  Strong knowledge of Risk Management, including reporting
  Experience identifying, prioritizing and documenting risk and controls specific to a broker dealer firm
  Experience in developing, implementing and documenting operations procedures
  Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  Good knowledge of IT and PC applications (ie spreadsheets, manipulation of data and graphs)
