Description: |
My client is looking for a Business Analyst, Transfer Agency to join their growing team. The team ensures the successful integration and coordination of new business & product implementations alongside client conversions.
Supporting the business units globally the Data Analyst will work as part of the team in Dublin supporting both the Dublin and other offices as well as working with both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Fund Launch Management
Assist with the on-boarding and migration of new clients
Partake in client discussions to understand client goals, TA workflows, TA business needs, gaps and opportunities
Understand fund documentation, e.g. Prospectus, and identify key information within the documentation. Be able to translate this information into system friendly language
Understand the system architecture and functionality so that queries can be dealt with quickly and accurately
Escalate issues to the Manager when necessary
Assist with the development and documentation of proposed solutions to fill gaps when identified
Client Servicing
Coordinate and work effectively with colleagues across Service Delivery
Develop strong relationships with the various teams involved in the fund launch process.
Respond quickly and accurately to internal and external client queries
Process Management
Ensure all fund and share class launches are set up on time and accurately. Ensure the launch tracker (JIRA) is kept up-to-date with launch statuses.
Identify and eliminate any unnecessary manual tasks, replace with automation
Participate in any ad-hoc projects as required and ensure they are delivered accurately and on time e.g. calendar project, large volume updates.
Risk Management
Issue/Error Ownership - escalate, track and resolve issues. Identify preventative measures to avoid reoccurrence
Ensure all procedures are kept up-to-date and follow internal Risk guidelines
Identify any gaps in current process or improvements needed and remediate as necessary |

Required Skills: |
Qualifications:
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
BS/BA degree preferably in a business, finance, or accounting related concentration and/or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus.
5+ years related work experience.
Background in Transfer Agency preferred; broad understanding of the key roles assumed by Transfer Agency expected.
Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Access, Project, VBA for Excel or Access a plus (not required).
