AML Manager within Investor Services position available in Dublin, our client is looking for someone from a TA background.
The Role:
The Manager performs tasks associated with investor level Anti-Money Laundering (€AML€) as it relates to Transfer Agency.
You will be self-motivated and should promote an excellent client service standard within the team. The Manager will assist the team in meeting all AML requirements. You will be a self-starter and have the ability to manage their workload effectively using all available tools/resources.
The Manager will review work practices regularly and monitor service levels and work within the Team implementing change where necessary to improve quality and service levels
The Manager will schedule and participate in conference calls, client meetings and presentations as required and should have the ability to express themselves clearly and concisely
The Manager sets a good example to the team as a whole and therefore needs to be flexible and display an ability to adapt to different funds and deadlines. You should project a positive attitude and professional image at all times
Knowledge & Experience:
A third level business qualification is mandatory
A minimum of 4 years industry experience is required in an AML €‘ Investor Services or AML Compliance role
Previous experience of working on strategic client relationships and customer services are required
Computer literacy is essential €‘ job holders should be skilled in the use of spreadsheets, word processing and presentation packages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
Ability to adhere to agreed turnaround times is required
Flexibility across differing fund types is required, as is the discipline to work on own initiative and implement new procedures where necessary
Required Skills and Experience:
Expert knowledge of AML legislation in Ireland, particularly relating to the funds sector i.e. customer AML validation requirements as per the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Acts 2010 and 2013 in addition to Sanctions Lists requirements
Knowledgeable in reporting of suspect account holders
Understands the background of various Fund types in terms of legal rules and regulations
Understands the role of Administrator, Custodian/Prime Broker, Trustee, and Investment Manager
Excellent analytical skills and high level of attention to detail |
