Our client is looking for a fully-qualified Financial/Management Accountant to join a team of six in their newly opened offices in Cork City to support their expanding Irish business.
Their business focuses on investments. Currently operating in Ireland, the organisation comprises 30+ people. The company is young and vibrant and is growing rapidly. The company has a policy of promoting from within wherever possible.
The position is a new role that will include accounting and administration for several corporate entities in the renewable energy and property sectors. The position will report to the Finance Manager and Group Finance Director in the UK and will assist with the day to day running of the finance function.
Responsibilities:
Financial reporting for several corporate entities
Co-ordinating management reporting to support the renewable energy asset management team
Producing management and statutory accounts for a number of special purpose vehicles
Liaising with auditors and tax advisers
Dealing with treasury operations
Preparation of VAT returns and corporation tax computations
Other ad hoc administrative tasks
Skills and Experience:
Fully qualified accountant
Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a small team |
