Insurance Senior Underwriter
Responsible for underwriting a book of business via a Broker network. Review risks presented, quoting on these risks, binding etc. Part of a team that is responsible for both building and managing the gross written premium. In additions to working on new risks you will also works on renewals and growth of the overall portfolio of business within the appropriate underwriting guidelines. Building and maintaining relationships with brokers. General underwriting functions including underwriting, submission review, pricing analysis etc. Providing direction to the Underwriting Support Assistant. Maintenance of underwriting files in an orderly and manner and in accordance with the underwriting guidelines. Including maintenance of all reporting systems for submissions and bound accounts, rate change modeling, bound account listing, submission log and reports as may be developed.
