About my Client

My client, a long established, independent Financial Services and Fund Administration provider is currently seeking add to their innovation team supporting the Fund Accounting business. A company with an impressive heritage, excellent reputation for not only work/life balance, but also one with an extremely capable Executive Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth in their mid-sized Dublin Office.

About the Role

Sitting within a small centralised support team and reporting to a the team manager, you will be responsible for gathering data, providing gap analyses and assist in designing, executing and fully implementing strategic initiatives across new and existing applications and platforms. The role is heavily focussed on creating efficiencies, automation of processes, problem solving, technology enhancements and a large amount of project management. You€ll be preparing project plans in conjunction with the wider team and meet with internal and external stakeholders including staff, vendors and clients to provide progress updates.

About You

You€ll have around 1 years€ experience within Fund Administration operations (Fund Accounting, Custody and Transfer Agency would all be considered) or Financial Services. You don€t need to currently be a business analyst, but you do need to be interested in technology, have a proven interest or experience in script writing /programming (VBA, Python, Command Prompt). Strong excel is required and Visio would be sought after but not essential. You€ll be confident in your ability able to manage complex tasks and see issues through to resolution. You can work with limited guidance, though be comfortable in collaborating with the team on group projects. Of course, you€ll need to be able to have excellent communication skills, so that you can articulate complex information in a digestible fashion. You€ll be intellectually curious, be analytical and enjoy solving problems.
