The Company:
My client is a leading financial services institution provides specialist financial services products to investment funds, asset managers and private clients, multinationals and charitable organisations. With employees in over 20 countries and clients in over 100, they are a sophisticated, forward thinking client centric organisation.
The Role:
An opportunity has become available in a small Dublin-based team of specialists with a global remit including Luxembourg, Australia, and the US for an experienced Finance professional with excellent foundation knowledge in Performance fees; coming from TA or FA (ideally both). This is a genuine opportunity to get away from the daily grind of operational BAU NAV or TA and move into a collaborative, client-facing team set up specifically as an additional controls specialist for a global business. Excellent training will be provided but you must have a solid operational and technical background ‑ see below for more details.
About the day-to-day:
You will perform cold reviews and spot checks of performance fee calculations, ensuring they are in accordance with fund requirements and client SLAs. You will review performance fee period end calculation and period end rollovers and work closely with new business and sales teams to assist in onboarding new business.
You’ll also assist with development of the business’ knowledge and capability in performance fees by assisting with departmental training. In such a broad reaching role, you’ll also work closely with Product Development, Relationship Managers, Audit & more,
About You:
You will have 5yrs+ within Fund Accounting or Transfer Agency up to around Manager / VP level in the fund administration, asset management or securities operations industry. You’ll have excellent technical knowledge / experience of Investor-based or NAV-based performance fees. You should be comfortable communicating and explaining technical knowledge as you have interaction with multiple stakeholders and will be advising clients coming on-board with the business and you can demonstrate leadership qualities in your team. |
