| Description: |
The Role:
Coordinate all day to day compliance activities of our clients Irish regulated entities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and corporate policies
Support the COO with conducting, documenting and reporting on the compliance monitoring programme and follow-up implementation of findings/recommendations
Develop and maintain relationships with the Regulator and provide assistance with all regulatory inspections, outlining the Companies’ positions where appropriate during these inspections and ensuring that any follow up actions are closed out
Assist the COO in implementing, reviewing and amending each of the Companies’ Compliance Plan and other relevant procedures to ensure staff are aware of the role of the Compliance function and their role in ensuring the relevant Company acts in a manner compliant with regulation
Ensure all Regulatory submissions are made in a timely manner
Assist with the update and maintenance of the regulatory calendars
Support the roll out and development of compliance specific training programmes
Preparation of periodic compliance reports to the Board of Directors of the Irish regulated entities
Provide assistance and support to the business in relation to regulatory and ad-hoc compliance queries
Maintain and administer compliance policies and procedures for the current business activities and future developments
Requirements:
Minimum 3+years’ experience in Compliance within Financial Services
Experience of working with Irish Management Company Requirements would be preferable
Good technical abilities and knowledge of applicable regulations (UCITS, AIFMD, CP86)
Familiarity with investment and regulatory issues facing the Irish Funds industry and significant investment industry experience
A detailed appreciation of the regulatory framework in which each of the Companies operate in and the likely impact of key regulatory developments on business requirements
An understanding of the regulatory requirements of the different fund service providers within the Irish Funds industry |
