| Description: |
This Successful Financial Company is constantly growing their company and is currently looking for a transfer agency manager to join their Transfer agency team. This company is located in Cork and is easily accessible by public transport.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be running the transfer agency team and preparing reports and appraisals on a weekly/monthly basis for the junior/senior transfer agency team. Throughout this role, you would be required to manage day to day activities along with preparing documentation for board meetings and attending these board meetings. There will be a lot of client engagement as you will be coordinating client on-boarding and conducting client relationship management, as well as being the main point of escalation regarding RM’s.
As a manger it would be essential be a part of various projects and system enhancements. You will be the oversight for setting up investments, processing trades, and distributions, sending reporting, performing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, FATCA / CRS reviews and making wire payments. All client quires and complications with investors will go through you as well as being oversight for hedge funds principles and operations. This management role will require people management as you will be leading a team of 5-6 transfer agents and develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other divisions/ offices of the bank and professional intermediaries.

Requirements:
Strong background of investor services and transfer agency
Detailed understanding of hedge funds
Ability to work tight deadlines
Ability to work on your own initiative
Interpersonal skills, able to interact with many different parts of the business
Effective time management and to effectively manage with more junior staff who do not excel in this area
Identify opportunities for improvements in the company
3-5 years of experience in management
4+ years of experience within the funds industry |
