| Description: |
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with internal purchase ordering policy
Controlling the issue of purchase order numbers
Internal group reporting and consolidation
Cash flow preparation and analysis.
Journal postings for accruals & prepayments
Maintain the company’s asset register for additions, disposals and depreciation.
Assist in tracking of expense reports and analysis of reporting versus budget, prior year and forecast including variance analysis and commentary for circulation to management.
Assisting with internal and external auditors.
Operational tasks including ledger entries & reconciliations.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and skill requirements:
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of IFRS and IAS financial accounting.
Knowledge of Irish regulatory and insurance accounting is a plus.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
