About my Client
My client is a globally leading provider of a suite of Financial Services, Wealth Management, Banking and Administration to a diverse range of clientele. With offices in over 20 countries and employees numbering almost 20,000, they are a powerful blue-chip enterprise.
About the Role
This role has is newly created and an additional headcount. Sitting within the In-House Legal division, they are responsible for the Legal and Corporate Governance of 6 legal entities. They are a small, settled and experience team with extremely capable leadership who have well defined plans for team and company growth across the region.
It is very much a hands on, busy and varied role. You’ll work closely with lead Legal Company Secretary and In-House Counsel ensuring Company Secretarial duties for each of the 6 legal entities are appropriately followed.
Day to day, you will prepare board packs and provide accurate minute taking at Committee and Board meetings, and additionally be responsible for company incorporation and registration, ensuring filings are timely and accurate under the Companies Act, auditing, preparation of annual returns.
Flexibility
This team has a very flexible approach to work be it working from home, condensed hours, or similar. There is no overtime required - a rarity for Company Secretaries!
About You
You’ll be an ambitious legal or company secretary with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Industry background or ICSA qualification is not essential; however you must have extensive experience in minute taking. |
