About my Client
My client, an established Financial Services and Fund Administration provider is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Director for their EMEA Risk Team. A company with an excellent reputation, large global footprint and one with an extremely capable and experienced Senior Management which interact on a global scale.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the EMEA Risk Head and with direct interaction with CEO & CRO, this position sits within the Second Line of Defence with a focus on Risk Management for one Legal Entity. You’ll work closely with several risk teams who provide overisight and challenge to First Line Operations teams, and maintain and effective dialogue with stakeholders across the operational business contributing to the continued development of the risk management framework, culture and practices ensuring they remain fit for purpose as the business continues to progress and develop in a regularly changing regulatory environment. You’ll be responsible for scheduling and reporting on risk related requirements at Board level which can include tool updates, risk assessments, Corporate Risk changes, findings on risk exposures etc. These are large and complex projects.
About You
You’ll be hands on, experienced Risk practitioner with significant experience, ideally Second Line; in a large, regulated organisation within Financial Services. You can interpret and communicate complex risk appetite data, and perform scenario analyses such as capital modelling.
With direct contact with C Suite Executives you’ll need to be credible, articulate, firm, influential, challenging.
Due to the nature of the position, you’ll need to be able to manage complex work, and have a track record in their successful delivery along with the ability to delegate work to others within the team and motivate them to perform to a high standard and lead by example. |
