| Description: |
A growing Insurance company in Dublin is looking for Underwriters to join the team for Motor Underwriting. The company is regulated by Central Bank of Ireland, and provides Motor Insurance, specifically designed for Motor Fleet and is a worldwide provider of full service multi-brand vehicle leasing.
Day to day you will respond to requests made to the underwriting team, while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers through effective written and verbal communication skills, which include agents and proposed insureds. You will also support the business development team, communicating with policy owners, applicants, brokers, agencies, and/or other sources concerning underwriting/business development decisions and procedures.
The company has seen very large growth over the last year or so, and has plans to purchase another large office space to facilities the changes going on. Long term progression opportunities are great at the moment with the company having a preference to promoting candidates internally.

Role:
To ensure all Risk Acceptance Guidelines/Master polices and up to date
Support development of new products
Support day-to-day activities of the underwriting and business development department
To support underwriting reviews in terms of adherence to pricing and procedure
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in Motor Underwriting or support
Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines
CIP Qualified or working towards your CIP
Experience working with business development teams or sales |
