About my Client
My client, a long established Financial Services provider is currently seeking to backfill a position of Legal Counsel within their Fund Administration, Depositary and Custody business. A company with an impressive heritage, excellent reputation for not only work/life balance, but also one with an extremely capable Executive Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth in their local and regional offices. This will initially be a 9 month contract.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director of Legal, you will be part of a team of 4 lawyers in Dublin and provide legal support for the negotiation and settling of EU and domestic legislation.
You’ll provide review, drafting, negotiation and legal advice on fund documentation such as prospectuses, constitutional documentation, contracts, and other ancillary docs. You will also be responsible for the structuring of specialist alternative funds. You will advise business partners and stakeholders for legal queries, and be involved in strategic initiatives and project work in a changing regulatory landscape.
About You
You’ll have around 5+ years post qualified experience as an internal or external legal counsel or lawyer from an Asset or Investment Management background or Law Firm with Irish experience. You’ll have strong interpersonal skills and be passionate about what you do.
UCTIS and AIFM Directive experience will be highly valued, as will drafting and negotiation skills, and be able to be both firm and approachable.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with high level executives including outside counsel, and translating key information to clients.
Remuneration is extremely competitive with a daily rate of circa €700.00 (€160,000 pro rata) DOE |
