About my Client
My client is a globally leading provider of Investment Services and a prestigious organisation with an excellent reputation in the market. A boutique firm, they are currently seeking to back-fill a position to suit a recently qualified Solicitor or Barrister, ideally with experience within Funds and Asset Management.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will provide legal support for the negotiation and settling of EU and domestic legislation.
You’ll provide review, drafting, negotiation and legal advice on fund documentation such as prospectuses, constitutional documentation, contracts, and other ancillary docs to Central Bank of Ireland authorised clients including UCITs, AIFs and Off-shore. You will also be responsible for the structuring of specialist alternative funds. You will advise business partners and stakeholders for legal queries, and be involved in strategic initiatives and project work in a changing regulatory landscape.
Internally, you will be responsible for advising on Corporate Governance.
About You
You’ll be recently qualified or have around 1 year’s post qualified experience as an internal or external legal counsel or lawyer from an Asset or Investment Management background or Law Firm with Irish experience. You’ll have strong interpersonal skills and be passionate about what you do.
UCTIS and AIFM Directive experience will be highly valued, as will drafting and negotiation skills, and be able to be both firm and approachable.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with high level executives including outside counsel, and translating key information to clients. |
