About my Client:
My client is an independent global leader in the provision of a full suite of Financial Services including ManCo, Fund Administration, Corporate Services, Custody and Depositary, and Banking.
They are a company with an excellent reputation with an extremely capable and tenured Senior Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth across the region. The firm has grown exponentially over the last 5 years.
About the Role:
This role sits at Vice President level and is a mat leave cover contract. Please note, that there is an expectation for this role to become permanent, as there are approvals underway for an additional headcount in this team.
As the MLRO for the group, you will share responsibility with DMLROs for ensuring that any suspicious transactions are flagged, monitored, assessed and reported upon appropriately.
About You:
You will have a mature outlook with excellent experience in Compliance with a particular focus on Anti Money Laundering. You’ll be comfortable in dealing with sometimes complex, layered issues with a keen eye for risk mitigation. You will ideally have experience in designing and implementing control procedures where a compliance framework requires updating. Experience in multi-domiciled funds is beneficial.
About the day-to-day:
Receiving, reviewing and making a final decision on suspicious activities/transactions within the group
Design, implementation and maintenance of compliance testing programs
Facing off with upper management/high profile clients surrounding AML/Compliance
Fostering a risk averse approach to Compliance matters across all teams |
