About my Client
My client is an independent, leading provider of Administration, Banking and Corporate Services to a diverse Financial Services industry client base including management companies, unit trusts, banks, aircraft lessors, commodities, and alternative and traditional investment funds. A company with not only an excellent reputation, but also one with an extremely capable, tenured Senior Management team who have exciting and well-defined plans for team and company growth for their Limerick Office.
About the Role
A number of hires have arisen due to new (soon to be onboarded) and pipelined new business. The portfolios contain Hedge, Private Equity, and Hybrid fund structures. Reporting locally to the Fund Accounting Director, you will be responsible for delivery of exceptional administration services to a range of clients and act as business manager to key investment managers and investors providing them with a consistently high level of client service.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the team are a high performing, efficient unit. You will manage workflows, review their work (NAVs, performance fees, waterfalls, journal entries, general/sub ledgers, capital calls, pricing etc), release it to client and be that clients’ first point of contact. You will partake in your team’s goal setting, one to one meetings and annual appraisals.
Change management and Project work will take up a portion of your role which will require you to plan, develop and roll out a variety of initiatives across local and wider afield departments. You’ll need to keep close to risk & controls and perform quarterly risk reviews ensuring robust controls are in place.
About You
You’ll be an ambitious Manager or Supervisor ready for the next step with a depth of experience in Hedge / Private Equity and/or Real Estate Accounting from a Fund Administrator, Accountancy Firm or Asset Manager. You will be keen to shine in a quickly growing organisation where prospects for advancement are high. |
