About my Client
My client, an established Financial Services and Fund Administration provider is currently seeking to grow out their legal department. They are a US company with strong roots in Ireland. They carry an excellent reputation from employees and clients alike, and have an extremely capable and tenured Senior Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth across the region.
About the Role
This role has arisen to due growth of the business, and is an add-to-staff. It is very much a hands on and varied role. You’ll work closely with a small team of Legal and Governance professionals to ensure the business (several regulated legal entities) comply with their statutory obligations.
As part of the role, your day to day will include;
Board meeting coordination - paper circulation, minute taking
Maintenance of statutory records
Reporting of financial returns, CRO filings etc.
Governance - conflicts of interest etc.
Working directly with the Chairman and other board members to ensure adherence to constitution
About You
You’ll be an ambitious legal or company secretary with at least 1 years of experience in from a highly regulated financial services, corporate services, or a legal firm. You will be keen to work in a dynamic team in a quickly growing business, and be comfortable with managing a varied workload and develop and promote strategy.
Experience in both Irish and UK companies’ legislation is helpful. Excellent communication skills are essential as this is a visible role facing off with the executive leadership team. |
